If you use IMAP protocol, please enter the following in "Advanced" options of your mail client: Root folder path: INBOX For a higher security, we recommend turning on SSL options for both incoming (POP3/IMAP) and outhoing (SMTP) protocol. To be able to use our SMTP server from anywhere, you should find the tab "Outgoing server" and make sure both "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" are checked. If your ISP doesn't allow outgoing SMTP traffic to hosts outside their network (port 25), you can change the outgoing mail server parameters in the "Advanced" configuration tab: turn on SSL and change the port from 25 to 465, or without SSL change the port to 587 or 8025. Some ISP's implement this restriction in SMTP traffic to protect theirselves from malicious activities of customer's computers infected with viruses that use e-mail to spread around. You can determine if your ISP is using this restriction simply by trying to send a test message. A message would stay in "Outbox" folder and your mail program would report an error that says it has not been able to connect to the remote server.
